Chris is a third-generation lawyer. He focuses on business and trusts & estates disputes. He also handles estate & trust planning and administration matters. He serves as Of Counsel to Cooke & Clarke, Attorneys at Law, a firm established in 1957 by his grandfather, John A. Cooke, and continued today by his father, Hon. Lance D. Clarke. In this capacity, Chris handles landlord & tenant and municipal matters. His experience has proven valuable and provides a unique perspective on how to find the best solution for his clients.

Chris’ academic journey includes a law degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He had the distinct honor of serving on its Law Review. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Skidmore College. This degree laid a strong foundation for his legal career.

Chris is admitted to practice in the State of New York. He is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Chris’ commitment to the legal and not-for-profit communities is clear in his board memberships. He is a board member of Legal Services of Long Island, also known as Nassau Suffolk Law Services. He is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association. Additionally, he serves on the South Huntington Youth Lacrosse board. He is an advisory board member at the We Care Fund, the charitable arm of the Nassau County Bar Association. His past roles include serving as a member of the House of Delegates of the New York State Bar Association. He was also a member of the boards of South Shore Guidance Center, part of the EPIC Family of Human Service Agencies. Additionally, he was a board member of the Lutheran Church of the Epiphany, Hempstead.

Chris is a former collegiate rower turned youth coach for his children’s lacrosse teams. When not practicing law, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.
