Chris is a third-generation lawyer concentrating on business, real estate, landlord & tenant, and estates & trusts disputes for the Law Office of Christopher J. Clarke, PLLC and as Of Counsel to Cooke & Clarke, Attorneys at Law, the firm established in 1957 by his grandfather, John A. Cooke, and continued today by his father, Hon. Lance D. Clarke. His experience has proven valuable and provides a unique perspective on how to find the best solution for his clients.

Chris’ academic journey includes a law degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where he had the distinct honor of serving on its Law Review, and an undergraduate degree from Skidmore College, which laid a strong foundation for his legal career.

Chris is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Chris’ commitment to the legal and not-for-profit communities is evident in his board memberships. He serves as a member of the boards of South Shore Guidance Center (part of the EPIC Family of Human Service Agencies), Legal Services of Long Island (formerly Nassau Suffolk Law Services), Nassau County Bar Association, and South Huntington Youth Lacrosse. He is an advisory board member at the We Care Fund, the charitable arm of the Nassau County Bar Association. His past roles include serving as a member of the House of Delegates of the New York State Bar Association and as a board member of the Lutheran Church of the Epiphany, Hempstead.

Chris has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for his exceptional work in Commercial Litigation since 2023.

Chris is a former collegiate rower turned youth coach for his children’s lacrosse teams. When not practicing law, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.
